While this will not give you a diploma or degree, it will definitely prepare you to be onsite. If you have no other design education, I highly recommend taking this course and then working under someone else for a while. Additionally, it would be helpful to learn softwares like SketchUp and Autocad. Many interior designers do not have degrees. It is practical on-site knowledge and constant learning that advances their career.
